With pleasure we introduce Dr. Martin A. Mass who received his B.A. from Hobart College and was an elected member of Phi Beta Kappa.  Dr. Mass studied and received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry.  He did his post-graduate residency at the College of Optometry at the State University of New York, and also attended Yale School of Public Health.  Dr. Mass has been a fully practicing optometrist since 1973.

Prior to joining Hispana Vision in 1993, Dr. Mass was a consulting Optometrist for the Yale Health Plan, a Medical Management Consultant for Aetna Health Plans, and in private practice Optometry.

Dr. Mass has been a member of several professional organizations including the Connecticut Optometric Association, the New England Council of Optometrists, the American Optometric Associations, and the American Public Health Associated.

Since joining us here at Hispana Vision in 1993, Dr. Mass has been a member of SAMA, the Spanish American Merchants Association. The Spanish American Merchants Association (SAMA) has been Connecticut’s statewide small business association and leading business advocate, particularly for Hispanic business owners.

Dr. Mass is also a talented percussion artist and has played along with Tito Ortiz y Son Borincano. As a very active member of his community, you can also find Dr. Mass astride his beautiful Paso Fino horse in the Puerto Rican Day Parades.
